Yash Chopra was asked one more time on what is his procedure to make a film? He answered, 'i think about screen play and story of the film mostly. When I get a film's story so I close my eyes and get into it deeply and think how to make this film.....how to picturize every scene. I try to make it more colorful and try to make it more living and vivid. I get all these thinking magically'. He was asked how he managed to make films on love so professionally? He told 'I consider love as a poetry. In my opinion love is the biggest lesson of our life. Directors and producers are making films on this subject for 100 of years or more and we don't know how long it would be made? I don't think any man could be bore to see it because everyone loves with a different style. According to some people love is the name of physical lust for them. It's wrong. Love is a different thing and it is everyone's need. It is also the need of that man who doesn't have any physical lust. Though, I don't make the whole by myself but it is the hard work of all team. Everyone works hard to make this film but director gets the most of the credit.'
He was talked about the death so he said, 'I want myself to die during my work', Yash's wish have fulfilled already. He died suddenly and he was working for his last film 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan'. He used to say that he has not done anything special yet after directing many famous movies. He said that he wanted to do more in his life and he also wished to do poetry. What I didn't do? I will regret it whole life but what I've done yet, I've given my whole attention to it. He revealed about his work 'we spend time with everyone in world but we spend less time with loneliness. I also sit alone and think about myself and my work for long. I always think that I've done less, I could do better than this. I didn't convince with myself and now my time is over now. But I think i should convince with my work because many people doesn't have to get a chance to do this much in their live.' I'm the biggest fan of Raj Kapoor. He used to make the films by his heart and soul. He didn't think about the film's success or flop neither he thought of film's gross. Raj Kapoor only made films to make his heart feel comfortable. Whenever he made a movie and someone scare him that he will lose his clothes if the film fails so he didn't care about it. He was a director first then the producer. He loves movies a lot. He also talked about films in occasions also.
I like his movies Sangam, Awara (1951) and Aag (1949) but I didn't like his film 'Shyam Satyam Sandrom'. I have watched his every film many times. He was fond of music and chose music very carefully. His film was also fantastic. He used to say about Mukesh 'I'm the body of my film whereas Mukesh is the ghost of it.' He revealed about Guru Dutt, 'he was also a different director. He came into industry to become a dance director but he became a hero, director, producer. He was basically a dance director and may be that's why he used to picturize film's song beautifully. He had a rhythm divine. He told about Bimal Roy and Mehboob, 'his movies had any reality, we didn't have any feeling that we're watching a film. His films had reality of life. He didn't follow glamour. He cast the best actors. Mehboob was totally uneducated but he was a tremendous director. He did his all work alone... and didn't care of anyone. Yash talks about the filmmaking and says, 'shouldn't make a movie to convince the audience only. You try to change audience's view and you can take them with you. I've seen many directors who only make films to generate money but it's the not the way. They rely on stars sometime or heroines or item numbers to convince the audience."
Sai Ram Chandran, Madan Mohan, Shankar Jaikishan and S.d Burman were the biggest music directors of their age. The music they produce couldn't be found today. Urdu is the most beautiful language, it shouldn't be end. I think many people wants to destroy it. Many people advised about Yash Chopra in the film industry, lets hear their advises:
Mahesh Bhatt said about him, "the honor today Yash Chopra is, he got this honor by hard work. He has many wonderful abilities. He's the successful filmmaker of the biggest film industry in the world. Here people don't want someone to succeed but Yahs whether he used to be in Hollywood, he won many honors. People salute Yahs when he goes to the event'.
Amitabh said about him, 'Yash ji is the one of his kind. He is so fond of love. He is impressed with Raj Kapoor. His films give a message to the viewers. If he wouldn't have been a film director so he would be a poet.'
Shah Rukh revealed about him, 'Yash ji is actually mad but he is the kind of mad person who can be called 'genius' by the whole world. I don't want to use this word because it is so odd. When you look him into eyes so you'll realize how loving he is. I love his modesty. He's younger than me. I don't know what would I be when I will be get to his age? May be I won't be?'
Rekha said, 'I want to make love with him.'
Shashi Kapoor said, 'he does his work in a discipline and he's great potential. It seems like he'll never get old.'
Rishi Kapoor revealed, 'my father was also like a discipline person like Yash ji. My father also adopted a social problem in a love story. He also made films on different topics but he didn't forget his first priority. I've found my father and Yash Chopra so close to me and I've worked with both.'
