DASHING PERSONALITY, KILLING LOOKS 'VIDYA BALAN'

The most beautiful example of Eastern beauty Vidya Balan has got married to UTV’s CO Siddarth Rai Kapoor on 14 December, 2012. Her wedding ceremonies were performed on the basis of Tami rites. 33-year-old Vidya Balan is the beautiful actress of Bollywood. She debuted her career with the film ‘Parineeti’ in which people liked her acting very much and then Vidya won every awards after sometime, but It was just the beginning. Vidya has proved that she can do every kind of role superbly after films ‘Paa’, ‘The Dirty Picture’, ‘No One Killed Jessica’ and ‘Kahani’.  She has influenced the women on Audience in every role she has done which is a new trend in Bollywood film industry. Films like these flopped on the box office in past in which woman performed the leading role but Vidya proved these all wrong by her remarkable acting abilities and proved that woman can perform a lead role too.
Vidya thinks that women should be allowed to do everything she wants in her life. We are always  criticized on everthing whether it would be our clothes, our face or our hairs. We always try to be a good mother, good sister and good wife. We have to get rid of it and try to make ourselves happy because you’ll know be agree with yourself only if you’re happy with yourself. Vidya Balan has given her first interview to a English magazine after her marriage and described about her first meeting with Sidarth Rai Kapoor, her love, marriage then the changes she has felt after her marriage.
You didn’t announce about your marriage to anyone, didn’t you want to invite anyone in your wedding?
In my opinion, marriage is the personal matter. I and Sidarth wanted us marry with normal style. We didn’t announce because we only wanted to invite our family members. We didn’t have any intention to hide our marriage. I also want to enjoy my wedding the whole world but it was impossible to invite everyone, though I believe everyone is praying for us (smiling).

It is said that many changes affect a girl after marriage, did you find any change in your life?
It has been only few weeks since we married and I don’t think any change has got in my life yet. I’ve really felt how beautiful is to be a bride.

You must have feel any change, tell us?
The biggest change in my life is I don’t live with my parents now. My every morning started with my mother, papa and my twins brothers and now I definitely remember them but first family isn’t that far from me, I can go meet them whenever I want.

Which quality of Siddarth impressed you?
I won’t say that Siddarth impressed me different style but it has all been written in my fortune before. We always seek for love and success in our whole life but the reality comes when your fortune finds you itself. I and Siddarth were meant to be one…. And it is the most beautiful feeling that my all dreams came true.

When did Siddarth and you first meet?
I and Siddarth met at Film Fair Award Function in 2010. I had to go to Delhi to get Best Actress Award for film ‘Paa’ because I had a shooting there for ‘No One Killed Jessica’, during that time a UTV member introduced me to Siddarth. I knew Siddarth as the CO of UTV but I didn’t see him before, it was our first meeting.

Karan Johar played the role of a ‘cupid’ between you and Siddarth?
Yes, we met second time at Karan’s house. Karan really played the ‘cupid’ between me and Siddarth and we became friends there.  I really thankful to Karan today.

When did Siddarth and your friendship changed into love, when did you realize that Siddarth is ‘Mr. Perfect’ for you?
It wasn’t like that we started loving each other from the beginning. I don’t now when did this happened but I realize that I can live with Siddarth as the way I am. Means I can laugh loudly and describe my dreams in front of him. Then suddenly I began to feel that thousands of butterflies and scents are following me and Siddarth… it was all magic though.

On which things you two fight most?
I think when two people has a strong relation between them so fight happens. I’ve just started my marital life whereas for some people marriage is just a compromise. If you compromise with your partner so your marriage can be successful. If you love someone deeply and that person also loves you like you do so your marriage can’t go in vain.

Many responsibilities come after marriage, would you share them with your Siddarth?

Many people told me that the hardest thing to share is one bathroom not life (laughing). Well, If i say truthfully so I would share everything with Siddarth. We respect each other needs and we give time to both of us.

Today, couples mostly don't rely on marriage, why did you marry?

Marriage is not just a signature on a wedding paper. This is the base of believe between two people. Many people live happily without marriage but I can't. Marriage is the most beautiful bounding in front of me. I really am impressed with successful married couple.

Any reason beside it?

Getting far from your family is not a easy thing. Our families become one when we get married. Beside, I don't want my child to face problems because we are not married. Marriage gives everyone happiness.

How are the relation between your family and Siddarth's family?

I'm a pure Indian girl full of modesty, respect and rites. We celebrate 'Holi' outside at our house. I take part in my every religion's rites but Siddarth's family is very liberal. They are Punjabi Christian but they're all very loving.

Which habits of Siddarth you don't like?

Siddarth is so punctual with his work and I used to think that i'm the only one who is so punctual with my work but Siddarth has beaten me (hahaha).

Which habits of Siddarth you like most?

The way he meets people so friendly and welcoming way, i like that a lot. He meets everyone in very welcoming way.

Which movie of you Siddarth likes?

He likes my film 'Kahaani' a lot.

You've done many bold roles onscreen whereas you're so simple and modest on off screen, why?

On onscreen, i'm not Vidya Balan but I'm an actress who performs her role very cleanly whereas I'm so shy on off screen. I try to perform my every role with full hard work and that's why my roles shows reality. Roles I've performed since now were showed the importance of women in real life.

Do you like to meet people?

I love to meet people. When I'm on a set of my shooting so I still meet people there. I go in van when I've to do make-up or weather turns bad. I love to know about people.

Is media interfering in your life?

I think media has always been so kind on me and they've kept my privacy. Reporter's work to ask question and my work is to give them answers. I don't feel bad when reporters ask personal questions about myself. I know how to take care of those reporters who ask personal questions.

You've always been the prey of weight problem, what do you think about that?

Actually, I've been raised in very loving environment where I used to be a very fat cute girl but when I got to college so I paid attention on my weight. Someone advised me to drink load water to reduce my weight. So I started drinking 10 liters of water in a day but due to lack of water in body, my body couldn't bear it and I suffered from fever. Though, i think it's all rubbish so I really paid attention on it and i really reduced much weight.

Did you gain weight for film 'The Dirty Picture?'

I approximately gained 12 kg of my weight for film 'The Dirty Picture'. I began reducing my weight after film because Raj Kumar Gupta signed me for 'Ghan Chakkar'. I'm looking good in that film.

How did Siddarth family accept you?

Our loved one only accept us when we accept ourselves. When I met Siddarth then i started adapting myself. Siddarth really helped me in that. If someone is unhappy with him or herself so nobody can make him or her happy.

Which is the most beautiful thing for you as an actress?

The most important thing I learned that the respect which you'll give to other they'll give you the same respect. You have to  make one person happy in this world which is you.
