English Vinglish must have shocked you because you didn't expect it to go successful?
Yes, I only chose this movie because I liked the script and character was so suited on me and I worked hard to perform it for my audience. Films like this should be made in Bollywood because people want to see every kind of movie and make themselves feel refresh. I hoped it to be successful but this successful I can't believe after all these years audience liked my film and appreciated my character.
Which thing do you think about the film has impressed you?
Everyone has different aspect of view. Some like the film and some don't. The thing that impressed me to see the audience still want to see us.
You must have been offered by the big filmmakers now after English Vinglish?
No it's not like that when someone will offer me a good role so I must do only if i like the script.
You disappeared from the film industry and after you've made a come back, do audience still want to see you in films?
Yes, I've made a come back but only on one condition. I will choose those roles which will suit me and prove a good actress towards audience. I really wish to work with new and old directors and producers but right now I'm not being offered by anyone but don't worry you'll soon be watching me in my upcoming film.
Will you work with your husband Booney Kapoor too in the film?
I can't tell you about that right now because Booney and I are both considering on a script but It is not that we're agreed with that. We need time to think about it then reveal about it to the public.
Did Booney Kapoor like your English Vinglish?
No, Booney didn't express his happiness or hatred about the film, he just hugged me and i know what would that mean!
Are you considering to do a role in upcoming film Mr. India sequel?
My answer is still no about this because film's script is not ready and they're all working on that.
