Today I've brought you your favorite actress Sonakshi Sinha who has been the luckiest one in Bollywood. Let's ask her what does she feel after her recent successful film 'Son of Sardar'.


Congrats, you've become more popular than Katrina after 'Son Of Sardar'?

Yes, I'm happy but I'll be more happy when I'll be declared most talented because films I've worked in, has succeeded just because of the heroes.

Why did you need to speak this biggest truth now?

Truth is the fact. I said it because I don't want anyone to say this before me and hurt my feelings. I admit that my films have become popular just because of the heroes.

You've been called pure Desi babe, what do you think about that?

I used to think this before but one day papa told me the saying of Tabassum ji. When English conversation was growing up in film industry so Tabassum ji used to get upset to take interview of stars on her radio show in English language  because her English wasn't that good to speak as compare to stars. When she discussed it with her teacher, her teacher said to not worry because everyone will speak it one day. That will be the time Urdu language will become precious, when that day will come they'll find you! Same criteria with me. Today, every actress is Western oriented and If I'm Eastern so it is an advantage for me. There are thousand like Western actresses but there are few Eastern actresses. We shouldn't forget that this film industry belongs to Hindi. We show our culture, our tradition and our language. I'm happy to be like this in film industry.

You're top and successful actress but you've not done any actress oriented film?

I admit four or six heroin oriented movies were released but none of them achieved the target of Rs. 100 crore. It proved hero films are more grossable than that of heroines. I do want to do heroine oriented films but I will want to work in hero oriented films for further three or four years and it would be better for me.  I’m giving hits by doing films with the hit actors.

Who helped you most becoming the ‘Sikhni’ of ‘Son Of Sardar’?

The role was easily defined but during the shooting Ajay taught me bike riding. Though, director Ashuni Dherne helped me in becoming a Sikhni. I was having trouble speaking Punjabi so Dher sahab taught me everyday for half an hour. I also met some Punjabi people to make my Punjabi accent better.  I had realized that I would enjoy this fim after reading the script of ‘Son Of Sardar’.

What will you say about the trending of ‘Son Of Sardar’ and ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’?

Papa abode me to talk on this. Though I’m the actress of this film and this film has been famous after all this plot. Talk Ajay on this topic. I’m sure he is really angry about it.

Do you wish to work for ‘Yash Raj Films’?

Ajay also wishes to work for ‘Yash Raj’ banner, I’m not speaking about it because it’s not my issue!

You must have felt sad after the failure of ‘Joker’ because it stopped your hattrick?

You must feel sad when the film like ‘Joker’ will fail on the box office. It is the lost of whole film industry. I’m not upset because my hattrick didn’t complete. Film had new things, I also had to wear some Western outfits. That’s why I was looking different. May be people didn’t like my Western style.

What changes did you find in today’s Salman as compare to the old Salman?

It’s different to tell. Salman has been so kind to me and he’s been my friend. The way he was yesterday still he’s the same for me today but I can’t say about the others opionon. He’s giving his time to ‘Being Human’ mostly. I’ve found him very polite and friendly. Success din’t change his mind, he’s so calm today. He works with everyone.

What do you feel about Arbaz Khan as a director, How would you compare Arbaaz Khan in front of Nau Kashyap?

Abhi Nau didn’t feel like a direcot when he first debuted his directional film ‘Dabangg’, the same I’ll say about Arbaaz. He is so talented and I must say Dabangg 2 will influence on every director in the film industry. It will also show Arbaaz’s second side.

Film ‘Lutera’ has been so delayed, can this affect on film’s set value?

It is the most different film of my career. I’ve worked very hard for this character. Vikram Aditya’s style is also different. He is more strict than my other directors I’ve worked with. ‘Lutera’ delaying is obvious because everyone knows that Ranveer had an accident which disturbed the whole schedule.

You played ‘Hide and Seek’ for film ‘Once Upon A time In Mumbai 2’ and you’re finally working in this film?

I had been having date problems in the beginning, Ekta and Milan weren’t sured about when to start it. But when dates were decided so I adjusted my dates. I’m starring with co-star Imran Khan and you’re playing the role of a Muslim girl. I took help from my Muslim friends for it.

Don’t you agree that you resemble with Rina Rai?

Absolutely not, We two are far more different from each other and our features don’t meet also.

You just don’t like Rina Rai because she used to be the friend of your father once?

Who said that I don’t like her. She used to come at our house and she never forgot to bring chocolates for me. She was my most favorite darling anty those days. But we don’t meet know because none of us have time to meet.

Why did you deny to work in ‘Race 2’?

I just didn’t work in Race 2 becaue the dates which was alloted to ‘Race 2’, it didn’t start on the dates and those dates was given to Rowdy Rathore. So it was difficult for me to work in ‘Race 2’.

What are the stats of ‘Bullet Raja’ and ‘Namak’?

Both of the films are about to start! I’ll act with Saif Ali Khan in ‘Bullet Raja’ whereas ‘Namak’ title hasn’t been decided yet. I’ll do this film with Shahid Kapoor, film has been directed by Prabhudeva. On the other side Sajid Nadiawala has offered me ‘Kick’. So it is most obvious that I’ll do these three films in 2013.

Finally you’re coming with your age heroes now?

Yes, but the fact is something else. I rather feel more comfortable working with my double age heroes. I get many guidance from them. Anyhow I’ll feel comfortable after getting so much experience.

Is it true that you’ve got everything without doing any hard working?

What we see is not true. It is true I didn’t have to do any hard work like my father but I’ve also experienced bad time. I used to so fat in my childhood and teen age. People used to laugh at me and being a sensitive girl I started crying. I locked myself in my room and cried for hours. When I look back in the past so I shock how everything changed this early. In my opinion, life buys price from everyone in life so It bought my price.

Who helped you in script narration?

I still sit my mom in script narration, I tell dad after it. They have both permitted me to take my final decision whether it is ‘yes’ or ‘no’.

Do you feel comfortable in your seven story house as compare to your old house?

This building took three years to become a bangalow. During this time we had to change two adresses which we found very bad but we were hopeless what else could we do. This new house is so comfortable. I have my two floors in it. I’ve got different rooms to meet friends and to read scripts. It also has an office, gym and also have a grooming section beside personal beauty parlour. We’re going to open our own production house in which me and my both brohters wil be partners. It will take two to three years to complete and we’ll be able to start our own production house in 2015.

Your papa Shatrugan Sinha has gone through a bypass surgery, is he still dabangg like before?

I’ve seen him tough and top from my childhood, I can’t think he’ll become this ill and weak. But everyone gets weak one day. I love my papa a lot and In real I’m the daughter of my papa. Only some people knows when my papa was ill and admitted in Ambani hospital, I was shooting for film ‘Lutera’ in Malwani and noone told me about his illness. But when different calls received and they said ‘Is Shatru ji allright?’ than I became so upset about my papa.

Is papa your ideal?

Yes, I’ve seen in gaining popularity from my childhood. He has won people’s heart as an actor and politician. He has told us how to keep our feet on floor. I proudly say that my fathe is the best.

 

Have you been a good student?

I’ve not been a good student in academic level but in real life I pick everything very fastly. I pick every role very rapidly and that helps me a lot in my fims.

Do you care about people’s reaction about you?

I used to care about people’s behaviour in the beginning but now I’ve realized that we should our work by ourself. We shouldn’t care what others are saying but to keep moving by our own work. You should have self-confidence in yourself. When someone critcizes at you, it is better for you to shut up. If you’ll keep your mouth shut so people will also keep their mouth shut. Today, I just don’t care about anyone.
