Kalki Koechlin doesn't want to be labelled. Kalki said in an interview to Vogue India (December issue), "I believe we do have many choices to make in film genres but only few are reasonable for you." The Indian actor of French descent considers college-youth as her real audience. Kalki said, "In my point of view I'm the product of new generation that considers young people more passionate than ever before. When I go to Bhavans College in Mumbai for rehearsals, I see the kids...they're hard-core, even more than I was as a teenager. They dresses differently now a days and their attitude. Open world has opened many opinions and thoughts in their minds to make them change and walk with today's world. They are our new and advance audience and they want to watch us advance. I take my audience very seriously."
Kalki added, "I want Bollywood to give chance to those who thinks different. I'm not here to change Indian industry but there's a time to think on youth now who wants to prove them in new way. I believe in truth only."
