ALIA BHATT PROVED HERSELF!

19-year-old Alia Bhatt is the new beautiful addition in Bollywood industry. She reduced 16 kg of her weight for the Karan Johar's film "Student Of the Year" and she also worked hard to be in this film. Let us know from her that how did she become a glamorous actress from a typical school girl.

FIRST FILM
I've done a role of fashionable young girl in my first film who is fond of new fashionable clothes, shoes, bags and branded things whereas I'm so different in real life as compare to this. I was so careless in my childhood, I didn't even know what kinds of clothes should I wear. Though, becoming a fashionable girl was new for me. I've done a role of girl named Sheena Singhania who belongs to a family which has destroyed. Tired of fighting her loneliness she seeks for someone who only loves her by heart.

GETTING IN FILM WORLD
I was the student of second year and busy in my education then one day Karan Johar called me and said that he wanted to meet me for his film. I didn't know who was directing the movie and what was the movie name. I reached his home in my school uniform. I want to tell you one thing here that time my weight was much more than today's weight. Karan told me that he wants to make a film on young generation and he had already found two boys for this and he was looking for a girl. He asked me to give an audition for this. I dance on the song "Bahara , Bahara" from the movie "I Hate Love Stories" and I performed a scene  five times in different styles of film "Wake Up Sid". After two or three weeks, I received a call in which I was told that Karan Johar has liked my audition but he wants me to reduce my weight. I didn't even think about choosing because there were 500 girls with me who gave auditions with me. Then I had to go through a tough exercise plan. Zarin Watson was my trainer during the exercise. After loads of jogging I succeeded to reduce 16 kg of my weight. My photoshoot was done then Karan watched me in a frame with two boys he chose and he decided to take me in his film.

WELCOME IN SHOWBIZ
I didn't have any experience about the acting before this. I had planned to first complete my study then I will start my acting education with Art and Drama. I used to do acting in my school dramas only, for which I only produced dramas some time. I was so fond of theaters in my childhood and I used to attend drama classes of Raell Padamsee.

FIRST SHOT
My first shot was actually a 'Radha Gheet'. In which, I had to look in the camera by coming down from the stairs. Farah Khan was the choreographer for this song. I rehearsed for this song in the beginning but I was getting nervous when It was being shot. I was nervous and thinking that I don't fall down from the stairs during shooting. But Farah madam's assistant Geeta gave me a hope and I did this song in two or three takes. I was so happy to think that It wasn't so hard to do this but then I realized It was so hard after it.

HARDEST SITUATION
I faced trouble when I hurt my ankle during picturzing a scene whereas I had to dance on this ankle. I lost hope when It happened to me. I wanted to prove myself best in every situation. But It became so hard for me after that. But I didn't lost hope and worked hard. I think that is important for me.

WHAT LESSON LEARNED FROM THIS?
I think the most important thing is when you become a part of a film, you belong to two different worlds. For example in real life I'll become like the people around me will be. Like this, you don't be what you are in real life but you adopt yourself in that character and world.

FAVOURITE ACTOR
I like Kareena Kapoor because she brights the screen. Kajol's talking eyes say thousands of words in a moment and Deepika Padokune is like a barbie doll. She is one like her.

UPCOMING PROJECTS
Don't have anyone right now..... besides "Student Of The Year".
