Kelly Preston Dies of Breast Cancer

Kelly Preston who was a veteran actress and the wife of famous Hollywood star John Travolta has died battling with breast cancer on Sunday (July 12, 2020).

confirmed the news of his wife death on Instagram, "It is with a very heavy heart that I inform you that my beautiful wife Kelly has lost two-year battle with breast cancer, she fought a courageous fight with the love and support of so many," He added.

                                                                 He showed his gratitude, "My family and I will forever be grateful to her doctors and nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, who were always there to help her and her friends and her loves ones." 

I can't forget her love and life I've spent with her. I apologize you all in advance for my absence because my children needs me more right now after losing their precious mother. After healing from this tragic incident i'm sure I'll be feeling your outflowing of love in coming weeks and months we'll have.

       

            Kelly Preston began her career with her first film Mischief in 1985. This role brought her in more roles on TV shows which include Honor and For Love. Following years she starred in SpaceCamp (1986), Twins (1988), Jerry Maguire (1996) and For Love of the Game in 1999. In 2018, she enlisted in the film Gotti in which she starred the role of Mafia boss John Gotti. John Gotti was certainly cast on screen by Travolta. 

                                                        Kelly and Travolta tied their wedding knot on New Year's Eve in the month of September in 1991 and the seven months after they were gifted a baby son Jett. They celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary last September. Travolta quoted on Instagram, "Happy anniversary to my wonderful wife @therealkellypreston." Preston representative revealed People Magazine that every single person of her family didn't unfold about her battling with breast cancer for the sake of privacy. She had been going through some severe medical treatment  with helping by her friend and closest family. Preston family demands some privacy in this time. Kelly was a shining soul, everything was lighted by her touched.

                                  Her daughter Ella Travolta wrote about her mother on Instagram, "I have never met anyone as courageous, strong, beautiful and loving as you," added: "Anyone who is lucky enough to have known you or to have ever been in your presence will agree...., That you have a glow and a light that never ceases to shine and that makes anyone around you feel instantly happy." She dedicated to her mother, "Thank you for being there for me no matter what, Thank you for your love."

Ella showed her love, "Thank you for your help." 

"And," she also added, " thank you for making this world a better place." 

"You have made life so beautiful and I know you will continue to do so always. I love you so much mama," Ella enclosed.

Kelly son died in January of 2009 when he was 16 years old.
