Ragini Nandwani is a famous name of Indian television and she's pretty attached to the showbiz industry for a while, but if talk about her Bollywood film career so she has debuted it from film 'Dehraadun Diary'. Let ask her about her first film experience and the events she went through.
FIRST FILM
My character in the film 'Dehraadun Diary' is a simple innocent girl named 'Preety Thakur' who belongs to a small city. Preety loves a boy named 'Anshul', but Anshal mysteriously dies during an incident, and now Preety has to move on by herself, but she also has to investigate the culprits who have killed his lover. Film's story is based on real events.
HOW DID YOU GET THIS FILM?
I was busy in my shooting of Zee television drama 'Mrs. Koshish Ki Paanch Bahuein'. I was offered for this film, and I also liked it story because it based on real events and reality. I gave different auditions and test before getting this film. I got this film when I cleared all my tests.
TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF
I belong to Dehraadun. I came to New Delhi just after completing my education so i could do diploma in Journalism. After completing my diploma I've been working in 'Mrs. Koshish Ki Paanch Bahuein' for more than one year, and it is quite a wonderful experience for me.
FIRST SHOT
It was quite a fascinating experience for me to work on the big screen from small screen. Though both television screen and film screen have many differences, but I wasn't hesitating facing the camera because I was so happy and full of spirited to make my first impression, and I'm happy that I got a good response on my first shot.
HARD TIME
In my opinion, we get aware about the requirement of film's character and script before doing a movie which is a good advantage for us. The director had already warned me for a complicated scene in which I had to act like I was drowning in water. Though I have water phobia so I was so worrying for this scene, but we didn't have any option beside it. Though I tried hard for this scene and became successful. I think that this film has spread my abilities and my act very well throughout the audience. Film's technique, shooting and acting are also very difficult from drama, and I've understood the difference between film industry and television.
IDEAL ACTOR AND UPCOMING PROJECTS
Like everyone I also wish to work with famous actors, but I don't have any ideal. I have two or three film's offers on which discussions are going on. When something will be approved, audience will know about it. Though I'm so happy for my film 'Dehraadun Diary'.
