Groom is Punjabi whereas bride is South Indian so both color would have to be mixed in the wedding. Keep in mind that Siddarth has married twice before this and both of them were unsuccessful, now he's doing his third marriage with Vidya Balan and hopes to live a successful marital life. On the very morning of November 14, Vidya's family began the preparations for the wedding. These preparations were started at 4 a.m in the morning because they had to do 'Balyadaan' of their beloved daughter at noon. It is a very big open space where thousand of people can easily be got together. At 5 a.m in the morning, preparations of Punjabi and Tamil culture were decorated. When groom and bride reached at the wedding place so they were welcome with ringing bells and music. Now I'm going to tell you how every function was arranged in the wedding of this beautiful couple.
Mehndi function: On 12 November, Vidya's mehndi function was arranged. None of the filmstar was invited from the industry except Rekha. It was a private affair though media didn't even know about this. No professional mehndi designer was invited for Vidya but Vidya's friends were designing mehndi on her hand. This event was decorated as South Indian style in Khara apartment and this event was continued till evening. The saree which Vidya wore was designed by her friend Sabyasachi Mukerjee, many friends suits were also designed by Sabyasachi. It was being planned that the wedding ceremony will be arranged in Maker Towers but later then it was arranged in Chamber mandir.
A singful morning: On 13 November, 12 p.m in the noon singing morning of Siddarth and Vidya was organized. Though they wanted to keep media away from this marriage so no one knew about the event place. Photographers were thinking to take a picture of couple's car when they'll go out from their house and photographers will accomplish their mission. According to the news, no Bollywood actor were invited in this ceremony. There were only Vidya's family and Vidy'a college and school friends were celebrating the marraige whereas Siddarth also didn't invited anyone from his office UTV. Though Ronnie Screwwala was seen with his wife on the reception. When couple's car went out from the house, photographers who were looking for this chance, chased them and succeeded to take their pictures. It was the first time for Siddarth and Vidya to pose in front of media.
Cultural rites: On 14 November, 2012 Vidya and Siddarth became husband and wife after performing all the cultural rites at the Chamber mandir! Vidya always wanted to be marry in Tamil style though she belongs to South Indian family so Punjabi groom fulfilled her dream! At the time of the wedding Vidya was looking like a 40 or 50-year-old Tamil bride. She wore 9-meter long 'Kanji waram sarhi', this saree was gifted by her mother-in-law and some people said this saree was designed by Sabiasachi and Vidya gave to her mother-in-law to gift her on her wedding time. Vidya aslo decorated herself with the jewelry gifted by her mother in which a big 'Sasarsuti necklace' was shining. According to the rite, this occasion was started at 4.45 a.m in the morning and continued to one hour. Vidya was getting disturbed from the rings she was wearing in her feet thumb because rings rang when she moved a bit. After the wedding's rites, Siddarth and Vidya was given a bowl full of yellow flowers. In the middle of bowl there was a statue of 'Bhagwan', whom bride and groom took permission.
After marraige reception: Siddarth decided to celebrate their wedding at the bangalow named 'Green Gift' in Bhandara. It is the bangalow where Vidya has shot some commercials under the direction of her guru ji Pardeep Kumar! After performing all the delightful rites at Chamber mandir, Siddarth and Vidya came to their bangalow where they were welcomed by the guest. The important thing was Siddarth didn't tell anyone about the wedding place but he told them to get ready so a car will get them to the wedding place itself. Guests were really feeling odd about it but they understood later it was all because of security plans. All the guests came to the occasion at 7 in the evening. 'Green Gift' bangalow was sealed because of the security and it was looking quite beautiful because of Punjabi and South Indian decoration. They also positioned guards at every building just to keep media and other people away from the bangalow. The guests were also being requested to not take any picture of the couple by their cell phones and let the event go private!
Vidya has now gone to Siddarth's hosue but she'll continue her film career. 'Ghanchakar' is the only movie in which Vidya is working right now. Vidya delayed the shooting because of the wedding but now she'll make it more delay because of the honeymoon.
