MUMTAZ LIKE HER NAME 'MUMTAZ

On 31 July, 1947 a cute and beautiful girl born in the house of Mohammad Saleem Askari and Shadi Habib Aaga who was named Mumtaz. This beautiful girl debuted her film career in the age of 12. In the beginning of her film career, Mumtaz usually got b-grades films and those were specially attached with Pelwan Dara Singh. Those days Dara Singh was paid up Rs.4 lac and 50 thousand per film whereas Mumtaz used to pay up Rs.2 lac and 50 thousand. Mumtaz's first a-grade film Sanam was realaed in 1965 in which she performed vamp role very superbly. Film's song 'Ye Hai Reshmi, Zulfun Ka Andhera' is still famous now a days and it had been the identity of Mumtaz once. Mumtaz got a chance to work with famous star Dilip Kumar in film Ram and Shyam, after that she was started to call Dilip leading lady by the people. Mumtaz worked with every leading actor in her time and made many successful couples. Her couple with Rajesh Khanna became very famous and it was thought that they're going to be get married soon. Rajesh and Mumtaz's successful movies are Bhandan, Sacha Jhota, Dushman Apna Desh, Aap Ki Qasam, Roti, Prem Kahani and Aaena. When Mumtaz and Rajesh's couple was very famous in film industry and they had a great demand in film trending, Mumtaz got married to Hindu millionaire businessman Mehwar Madhwani and announced to leave the industry. She was seen in film Aandhyan after the long period of 12 years in 1989 but after the flop of this movie Mumtaz didn't continue her film career! She got married with Mehwar Madhwani on 29 May, 1974 and she became the mother of two beautiful daughters Natasha and Tania. Natasha is the wife of Bollywood actor Fardin Khan who is the only son late Feroz Khan. They wedded on 5 December. Mumtaz's little sister Malaika got married with the little brother of Dara Singh Randhwa which became successful. Mumtaz shifted to London after marriage and she is living in Mumbai after some misunderstanding with her husband.
