How was the experience doing a different role?
I wasn't ready for this role because it wasn't for me. I wasn't ready because I didn't think of wearing Haryanwi getup and speak this kind of language. But I say credit must go to Vishal because he thought that I could do this role. I only got able to do this role because he encouraged me.
What exactly is the problem in this character?
An actor has to know the role first If you are not familiar with the role you're doing so how can you put yourself in the role. You've to be appear at big screen so I worked hard for this.
How did you solve this problem?
First of all, Vishal sir is very cool-minded. I did a load mistakes in the first cut but he didn't get angry with me. I remember my first script session when I was given a dialogue 'Re bhootni wale bewra samajh rakha hai mane'. I broke this sentence whereas I should have to speak it in flow. I saw Vishal sir face, he bow down his head and said don't worry, you'll do it. When the work started so It was decided that a professional dubbing artist will speak my dialogue because I couldn't do it. Few days ago, Vishal sir gave me a cd of my dialogues and said to read it carefully in your ample time. I listened to those dialogues from my Ipod many times. Then I was sent to National School Of Drama Delhi, there were load of Harynvi student. I had a session with them and after some days my problem had solved. Sharma Ji has a different style to teach language, he teaches languages through songs.
Can a character be groomed by the director?
The same has been happened in Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola because if Vishal sir didn't encourage me so I wouldn't be able to do this role. Sir told me to not blink my eyes during performing the Haryanvi dialogues. He practiced me to how to perform dialogues in different angles and different ways. Now, Aamir mama also assume that a successful film credit goes to the director.
How did you like working with Shabana and Pankaj?
I've been told that they have worked together after twenty five years. I watched their movie 'Aik Doctor Ki Maut' because Miss Shabana recommended me to watch it. They are the assets of our industry and you don't find any problem working with them. I consider myself lucky to have a chance to work with these stars. If you find my performance more better so it is only because of them.
Film hasn't been released yet but people are saying that Imran will be the second Aamir Khan of film industry?
When I first stepped in acting world so I decided to become like my Aamir mama. If that time has come so I'm very happy if not so I pray it to come early. I know how many problems Aamir mama has faced to make his name in this industry.
Did Aamir mama suggest you to do 'Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola'?
He says time has changed now. You don't need suggestion whatever you have to do just do it and persuade yourself in the eyes of audience. I've generated just because of Vishal sir this time and I don't want to make my name by taking credit of someone. I'm so confident that I've done it well.
Will public accept boy like you in a villager role?
We've got good response on promotions and now I think public will like me. I'm not aware from this kind of environment because I've been lived in every kind of environments. I've also lived in jungle. Hard work has made to perform every kind of role by my heart. So I think audience will also accept me in this role.
How did your family like this film's promo?
I prefer my wife and my mother the biggest teller of my mistakes. They both judge me correctly. Professionals don't tell me how have I worked but there are two persons who can easily tell me about my work.
Will you go to Haryana after film will be released?
May be I'll famous like Shatru Ji after this movie in Haryana because Shatruji is considered as Bahar's star by their people. It all depends on the film.
Have your life's freedom ended after becoming an actor?
It is the price of popularity which you have to pay. Sometime I feel to have bhel puri with my wife on the carter road but is it possible? If a fan comes to me to take autograph and I say him that I'm eating bhel puri so he must have thought me as a proudy person. We've to stay away from people after being an actor otherwise we'll be badly disturbed.
How important are your fans to you?
We make fans because of our work and I can involve them in many ways but not in my personal life. I won't tolerate that someone say that me and my wife's dressing is looking awkward or why are you eating in this restaurant? So i think fan should be a follower only in our work.
Do you become angry when someone asks you a personal question?
I used to do it but now i try to calm down. But when it goes over and my wife and my mother hurt. They keep the magazine with them and tell me to take care of that man who have written this rubbish about you. However, I've learnt how to deal media now.

Aamir mama has told me that when he debuted so media's style was different. Now, it has become worse because they judge everything even your hairs, your shirt buttons and your boot. In my opinion, whether it is print or electronics or social networking sites. Everyone is crossing limits!
If a man manages to call you on your personal cell phone so what will your first response?
I try to talk nicely but an artist takes too much tension because of the shooting so it is very hard to talk someone nicely whom you don't even know. That's why I don't receive unknown calls beside my relatives. I've kept my words with every fan yet.

I'm ready for this because I know that time comes in life. Recently, after watching 'The Dirty Picture' and 'Heroin' I believe in it seriously. But i know this time will be over soon.
