Everyone is having a thought about where's Sonu Walia?

Sonu: I'm living in Mumbai.I have developed my own production house and I'm working on that, have been very busy. I don't care the spotlight. I'm happy with my place today.

What was the reason, you left Bollywood?

Sonu: Wherever I go, people meet me and ask why did you leave acting? My answer is "I fell in love with Surya Prakash and wedded with him, Surya has left this world four years ago. I can't work with the three Khans because tall actress can't work with them (laughs). Like Sushmita Sen did movie with Salman Khan.

Do you think that film industry has become more advance than that of 90s?

Sonu: In our time, script wasn't a problem, man ruled the industry and women didn't have any proper place here. But today, I give my full credit to Aamir Khan who had made it this far. When I get back to my time, I find myself very happy and lucky to work with the stars.

How did you get your first chance in film?

Sonu: I consider myself very lucky because I won the title of (Miss India). Director Rakesh Roshan was making his film Khoon Bhari Maang, though he doesn't cast newcomers. He had watched my film Aakarshan and because of that he cast me in Khoon Bhari Maang. I think I'm the only one newcomer, he has cast after Amisha Patel and Hrithik Roshan.

What is the important thing of your  career?

Sonu: When I was shooting for Dil Aashna Hai in Panvel, Hema Malini was directing this movie. Dharamji came near me and asked me If I was feeling cozy. That was the most important moment of my career because I had grown up watching them and It was a wonderful moment for me.

How many close friends do you have in film industry?

Sonu: I'm in contact with some people but one can't get close friends in Bollywood. Close friends are only from school and college.

Do you think, film industry forget its stars?

Sonu: It is the rule of nature that we always respect the rising sun.
