ADELE'S '21' BECOMES 21'S ALBUM IN THE HISTORY OF NIELSEN SOUNDSCAN, SELLS 10 MILLION COPIES

Adele's album '21' has been become the most selling album of 2012. '21' has become the 21st album in the history of Nielsen SoundScan to sell 10 million copies. According to Billboard's Keith Caulfield, Adele's 21 is one of eight albums to move 10 million copies in their first two years of release. Other albums who made it this far were 'The Backstreet Boy's Millennium, the Bodyguard soundtrack and second one was N Sync's seminal 90s masterpiece No Strings Attached (come on you know you loved it). However, Rihanna's seventh studio album 'Unapologetic' has achieved the no.1 spot on the Billboard 200, 238,000 copies of this album has been sold in its first week.

              Rihanna twitted on Twitter about her album, "Wait!!!!! What the FU**?!!!! #UNAPOLOGETIC just debuted at #1 in AMERICA!!!! My first number 1 album there!!!! Thank you Navy, u deserve it. I'm legit crying like a pussy right now!! #UNAPOLOGETIC." Rihanna's album has taken Taylor Swift on the 2nd place on the Billboard whereas British Boy band One Direction spotted at Number 3.
