MADHURIMA BANERJEE PACKED WITH EVERYTHING!

FIRST FILM

My name is Madhuriman Banerjee and my first Bollywood film is "Kamal, Dhamaal Aur Malamaal". My character name is 'Maria' in the film who lives in a village of "UP". She belongs to Christian family and she's the daughter of village wealthiest man Paresh Rawal. Maria is a beautiful girl. She loves a boy who's name is Johnny. This character has been done by Shreyas Talpade. Maria's only wish in life is to marry with Johnny but according to story Johnny is found to be the son of Maria's father old enemy Om Puri. How they meet and get married, watch movie "Kamal, Dhamaal Aur Malamaal".

INTRODUCTION IN FILMS
I was working in South India Telugu film that time my manager knew that film director Priyadarshan is making a movie with the co-operation of "Percept Pictures". My manager urgently contacted Percept and send them my pictures. They called me for an audition and I gave luck set, screen test and dance set for this purpose, then I was chosen for this movie.

FIRST STEP IN SHOWBIZ

My father is a retired Indian Navy officer. He works with a private shipyard company now a days whereas my mother is a novelist. I was raised in Bengal environment and I was taught about living and other aspect of life as well as education. That is the reason I learned three kinds of classical dances in which Bharatanatyam,  Katkat and KuchiPudi are included. I've been a student of Law and I received my education from Mithibai College of Mumbai. I'm fond of singing and I've also done playback singing. Acting wasn't in my preferences. But director Vee Air saw me on a dance recording and said to my mom If you want so can I take your daughter in a movie. He was making a movie "Kadam Bari" that time. I agreed with him to work in that South Indian film and I received many offers after this. This is how my acting career started.

FIRST SHOT
I was finding Shreyas on bicycle in my first shot. Then I see that children are disturbing him. On that scene, I say my first dialogue by shouting "Ab Bare To Bare, Bachen Bi Tumhe Pitne Lage!" It was a very funny scene though.

HARD TIMES

I didn't face any trouble during the scene because I had done acting before but Telugu films are kinda fast. Its dialogue delivery is also fast so I did this in the beginning in this film too but director Priyadarshan caught my mistake.

LESSON
I learned many things during this film. Bollywood industry is different from South Indian industry so It was a big challenge for me to do this. But Priyadarshan taught me how to perform dialogues. His advice was very helpful for me and I will always remember that.

FAVOURITE ACTOR
Though my favourite actors are Kareena Kapoor and Aamir Khan but I'll want to become like Madhuri Dixit in future. Who is in my opinion is the best actress of Bollywood.

UPCOMING PROJECTS
After "Kamal, Dhamaal Aur Malamaal", I'm working in Telugu and Malyam movies but If I talk about Bollywood, I just want to see the impressions and comments of my audience for my film. Then, I'll work further on in Bollywood.
