FIRST FILM

My first film is "Cocktail", in this movie I've done the role of "Meera" who belongs from Delhi and she's very simple and traditional. She reaches to London to make her life where she meets Gotham (Saif Ali Khan) and Veronica (Deepika Padokune). They three make a strong relationship. So, Mira tells them those things which she's not spoken to anyone before.

GETTING FILMS
I got this role very dramatically. I was busy in my room for photo shoot when i receive this from illuminati needs a new face for his film. I had a plan to get back after few days but when i received call so i got back immediately. Here, i met director and producer of the film. Then the very next day i received a call that I've been selected. They told me that i was the one they wanted and they found their film's "Meera" in me.

FIRST STEP IN SHOWBIZ

I used to read in Mumbai's college. It was my last year in college and i began my work with an advertising agency named "Elliot". At the first part i started it as a part time because college was also necessary for me. But when college finished i started it full time. I did work in Paris and New York for this purpose and also became the face of cosmetic company. After doing five years of modelling i thought of doing something else challenging and different which grow my abilities.

FIRST SHOT
I was happy because i didn't have dialogues in my first shoot. According to scene, i had to appear walking with the river of Hide park London. It was very cold. and it was also raining. Situation was i had to walk very sadly. I tried my best and i succeeded because scene was already okay in my first shoot. Though, it can be said that my first shot was successful.

HARDEST SITUATION
When i started acting my experience was zero so i took lessons about how to control my voice at the shooting and how to make my accent more understandable and also did an acting course. I was very weak in dancing so i worked on it a lot. I learned dances from Bharat Natem to Khatak and from Western style to Free style for many months.

WHAT LEARNED
I spent a great time working with "Cocktail" film team. Film's producer Vinesh Vijan who saw my hidden acting abilities in me and director Homi Adajania who found "Meera" in me. Except them Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padokune also helped me a lot. I wish whole film industry would be like them. Although, it was a wonderful experience for me to explore myself that i can act in front of thousand people on the set and can dance on the foreign country's road.

FAVOURITE ACTOR
I like many actors because they all work perfectly but I haven't made any ideal yet. When i'll work here and get to know each other then may be i can make someone's my ideal but right now i'm impressed with Saif and Deepika and I've learned many things watching them on the set.

UPCOMING PROJECTS
I haven't signed any movie beside "Cocktail" yet though  my attention isn't anywhere right now.
