NARGIS FAKHRI

Film like "Rockstar" can be a dream of any new actress.... any actress who wants to go higher in the film industry. But there are some lucky people who are finds by their destination. Nargis Fakhri can be called on those people who were found by destination itself....! Hero like Ranbir Kapoor and director like Imtiaz Ali are enough for a movie to take it on the level of success but if we say that appearance of Nargis Fakhri in the movie has made the movie popular so it's right though. The most amazing thing is Nargis didn't dream of working in the Indian movies as a heroine. When Nargis was cast for the film "Rockstar" , no one didn't have any idea that who Nargis is? where has she come from?... what is her background? People came to know her when she appeared at the photoshoot and posed to the photographers.... It was the moment when everyone forgot to blink their eyes for once.
                                                  When Nargis was told that she resembles to Julia Roberts so she answered it quickly that i've heard this before many times and many people resembles her to the star Penelop Cruz. It proves that Nargis cares about her beauty and she doesn't want anyone to assume her about her beauty, she says the real beauty lies inside the body not outside the body. "I have met many people, their age will be around 40 to 50 years but they look like 30 years of age. Though i think that if your soul is beautiful so you are beautiful, i know most of the people hates this but i believe in it." Nargis said it confidently. Nargis has a personality to fill the space with people around her. She is a story which can't be read by everyone, she's a free person and she likes to discover the world. She speaks in American accent very frequently. She said about this," Everyone is trying to train me, Ranbir always calms me. He says that keep down your voice, but i can't understand why do i do that? Whoever sees me, advice me not to do that do this, and some people advices me to have a hand bag in my hand will look better on me. I should have a fabulous car because i'm a star now. But i feel like i have a bike....If i'm like this so what can i do?"

                                                       Nargis meant to say was that whatever she's now, she can't be change. She said," Boys always say me that i haven't got any mystery in my personality. Who will want to date me though.... because i'm like a open book to everyone and i like what i am. I don't like to be mystery  and i don't play those games, whether someone relates with me or not." Nargis told, "People don't understand how simple and decent i'm...sometimes i feel like it's odd!" We declare her "Alice in Show land" besides "Alice in Wonderland". Nargis is a daughter of chekoo selwaken mother and the Pakistani father. She was raised in New York. As a model she has travelled many places. She was looked when she appeared in the Indian Jewelry ad. After it when she was in Denmark she received email from a stranger man that she has asked to come in a movie audition. Nargis told about it clearly,"I didn't know anything about India and i wasn't understanding that why they are calling me for audition. Though i questioned him. That man also wanted to know that am i indian? i answered him that i'm not Indian, i'm American. He told me that one of the film director wants to see me, he was arriving to Parague so i could meet him...!"
                                                        Nagris didn't know anything about the Bollywood films so she got nervous though some childhood memories was in her mind. She told,"I used to watch Indian channel with them but since they divorced so it was over too. When i told my friends about the audition thing so my friends adviced me to go there....and if i feel pity so i can come back to home. I thought what if i take a chance.... So i went to Parague which was my mom's city." So Nargis Fakhri met Imtiaz Ali for the first time in the lobby of Parague hotel. In the beginning Nargis felt pity by the look of Imtiaz Ali but when she talked to him, she agreed with him. After this all the meeting was in Imtiaz's room where he told the story of "Rockstar" to Nargis. The way Imtiaz was telling me story i was imagining the movie myself." Nargis said," I can't stop myself to accept the role of this movie by hearing this movie. Imtiaz told me if i want to come India so he would give me training and he'll also teach me Hindi, after then i can give the audition."

                                                        Nargis arrived to India though it took time to learn the way of live here and during this she became sick and went to hospital. "In the beginning of two or three months, my situation was pretty bad. I was in Hospital and no body was there to look after me. Though Imtiaz Ali and Ranbir Kapoor was there in the Hospital with me but you misses your own family in this kinda situation."Nargis told.  When Nargis became all right again, Nargis scheduled was to arrive in Imtiaz Ali's office at 10 a.m daily  to learn hindi. Learning hindi wasn't the easiest task for me and sometime when i got to my home, i cried. My training was difficult sometimes i was given a task to stare right inside the eyes of Imtiaz Ali. It was hard for me because it's hard to look in a man's eye and i'm a shy person also....But Imtiaz told me to stay decent. This work was hard for me but as the time passed, i got used to it. This training was necessary because during the acting you see the person right infront of your eyes and i was scared of staring somebody, but Imtiaz helped me out and i succeeded to to get this character."
                                                      "Rock Star" journey was so hard for Nargis, there was many moments when Nargis felt herself so weak and alone, after shooting some scene she became depressed for few days, because this journey was so hard and so fascinated also! On the other hand she was taught how to be like a real girl on  the set...."I'm a girl like tom boy type" Nargis laughed. Fighting everytime and playing video games was my hobby. So when i was told to show myself decent on the screen.... i faced troubled to absorb it. So a code word was set for me on the set, whenever i forgot about my role and act like a tom boy so i heard the voice...'Grace'.... i quickly changed my expressions. Nargis learnt a lot of things during the shooting of "Rockstar" , she saw the life very deeply. She said that if she didn't work in the movie after it so she won't regret it because it's enough to experience the life. When conversation changed to Ranbir Kapoor so Nargis told that she was nervous to meet him, how will he... if he would be so proudy so what will happen etc etc.... But when she met him she forgot all those thinkings. He was the person who could play video games with her and laughed her many times!
                                                     But when media related her life with Ranbir Kapoor so she became upset. She was't getting what was happening to her? so she cried a lot. After time passed Nargis learned it how to become happy everytime! Nargis says that she's not used to glamour and she gets afraid of changing her life and if she has to do it so she will pack her bag and go for the journey of Amazon. She says, "If you didn't see it in life so what did you do then?" On the other hand she likes her work, may be she would marry to some Indian guy and lives her life...."If that happens, my mom will get heart attack." Nargis said it laughing. "She loved my dad and his culture a lot. She used to watch Indian movies with him. She cooked his favourite dishes. I have her picture in which she's wearing kurta shalwar and dupatta."
                                                   After all Nargis is the daughter of this mom and she also have lots of love in her heart. She said it secretly,"The man i will marry, he will be my King...and i will be his servant. I dream a lot and i dream that one day my prince charming will come to get me on the white horse and then we will live happy forever." Although film industry has got the "Star".
