BEAUTY AND INTELLIGENCE IS MY DESTINATION: HIMRASHA

Himrasha belongs from South Africa, few times ago she came to India for a modelling assignment. She took part in King Fisher Calender Hunt 2012 and won this contest. It proves that she's very talented with having beauty. Recently she has started her career and sign a movie.

When did you come to India?
I came to India for a modelling assignment two years ago. I belong to Durban, South Africa.

When did you feel that you should act?
I was fond of acting since my childhood. I've been working in T.V commercials since i was in school. I did these commercials in my home country South Africa. I also did ramp walk for some big international brands so working in front of camera wasn't hard for me at all.

Did you come to India for a modelling assignment?
I came to India for Lakme Fashion week then i took part in  KingFisher's calender Hunt of 2010 and i won it title. After that year, i hosted the Kingfisher's calender Hunt. All these events were a good experience for me.

Tell us about your study?
I've done graduation in medicine from South Africa's Witwatersrand university but i was fond of acting and i chose this path.

How did you come close to films?
As i told you before i was keen of acting so when i heard about that there's a competition having for film so i went there to prove myself. After auditions director of the film looked at me and he thought that i would be perfect fit for film's heroin role.

What is your film name and what is your role in the film?
My film name is "Afra Tafri" and i'm doing the role of a heroin. "Afra Tafri" is a comedy movie, though people don't start their career with a comedy film but my situation is different. I liked this movie and most of the shooting of the film was done in Thailand.

Who are your co-stars in film "Afra Tafri"?
Govinda, Maha Akshey, Sunil Shetty, Madga Godse and Arya Babbar are my co-stars actors. I enjoyed working with them.

Tell us about your first shot in the film?
Though this film is under production so i can't talk about it. I just tell you that when i first faced the camera i was so scared. Whole cast of the film was there and i was scared from inside. But thanks to God that my director and my partners actors helped me out, so i got through.

What problems did you face during the film?
Hindi basically is not my language so language problem was the biggest problem for me. Film's scenes were hard but i pronounced the dialogues right. So my Hindi is good now because of pronouncing on the set and i'm also taking some Hindi lessons now.

What lesson did you learn from your first film?
"Afra Tafri" team was huge so i had to learn many things from the crew members of the film. I think this was a launch pad for me. I learnt many techniques of acting from my team.

Who are your favorite actors in Bollywood?
I like Bollywood's new actors, like Prathik Babbar and Kalki Koechlin. I'm biggest fan of Kalki's characters. If i would have a chance to work with her so i would love to do it. Including these Ranbir Kapoor, Imran Khan and Ranveer Singh are my favorite actors.

Tell us about your upcoming projects?
I've an international Arts House project right now. I'm fond of working in arts films. Though i'm new in film industry so it's hard for me to choose my favorite category, so whatever work i get, i'll do it.

NEHA BHASIN

FIRST STEP IN SHOWBIZ:
I started my career in showbiz by music. I was together with some band of girl "Viva". I sang songs for some films, e.g. "Mere Brother Ki Dulhan" song "Dhanki" and i sang "kuch kaas" for "Fashion". Including these i also sang tracks for some movies. I didn't ever join a acting school or theater. Always performed live, that's why i knew how to make yourself confident in front of the camera. If we talk about acting so i think you can't go to school to learn how to act, you learn it when you're on the set.

STEPPING IN ACTING:
I didn't like acting and i never thought of becoming an actor. "Life ki to LAgai" director needed some new actors, he saw some of my pictures in papers and he contacted me for film role and i denied him. Director kept persuaded me for this role and at last i agreed with him.

FIRST FILM, FIRST ROLE:
My first film name is "Life Ki to Lagai". I have done a girl role who belongs from Chandigarh who has come to Mumbai to become an actress. During journey she loses all of her money though she makes a plan to bring it out again. She thinks of herself so clever but in reality she's an idiot.

FIRST SHOT:
It was a group scene and it was shot on Marine Drive. It was the film's climax shoot but i didn't know yet that why do they start from ending of the film. In this emotional scene, me and my partner are in so trouble and i shout and also slaps. I put my all effort to did my best so i become confident till the end of the film.

CRITICAL SITUATION:
Mumbai, Marine Drive shoot was the hardest shoot of my life. It was so hard to do the scene in front of loads of people, this scene also had some close-up shots due to which i had to show myself so confident. I also had to flirt with my partner were also the hardest.

FAVORITE PERSONALITY:
Film director Imtiaz Ali Taj is my favorite personality. I'm his biggest fan and i really would like to work with him. In the film "Rockstar" the way he has showed the Indian culture was terrific piece of work. If he make "Rockstar 2" so i would love to do heroin role.

WHAT DID YOU LEARN YET:

I will always remember my first films trouble which i faced in "Life Ki To Lagai". I learnt how to work with team with team spirit first time in my life. Though i was a singer so i didn't have experience like this. I now learnt how to work in front of camera.

UPCOMING PROJECTS:
I would love to move on with singing and make my name in it. I will concern on acting only if i'll get a wonderful project.

HUMAIMA MALIK PAKISTAN'S FIRST ACTRESS "ASIAN FILM AWARD" WINNER

Asian film award winner Pakistani actress Humaima Malik is not more hide from anyone's eyes. Showing remarkable acting abilities in producer Shoaib Mansoor's movie "Bol"  Humaima Malik has become the first Pakistani actress who won this award.
        Humaima Malik Aawaan belongs from Mianwali who born on 16 November 1987 in Quetta. Her grandfather used to employed in ISI and her father was a businessman, who is retired now. Humaima is Punjabi and she gained her studies in Karachi. Humaima told us during conversation in Lahore that you get a chance to show Pakistan's things in our countries. Before this many of the actresses has tried to do this work but they all got failed. But after the movie of Shoaib Mansoor "Bol" i felt proud when they announced my name. Humaima Malik expressed her feelings after winning Asian Film Award, when she received the award she felt proud that she was the only Pakistani actress there, our Pakistani film "Bol" were chosen and it was a very big deal. Seven categories were announced for the film in which best film, best story, dialogue, new emerging talent and production were included. Humaima Malik told that her younger brother Amar Kashmiri also won an award. I knew that welcome would be wonderful. When i took "Bol" to India so it was a very good welcome. Film's promotion was done wonderfully.

                  Media's biggest channels were invited. If you ask me truthfully so i didn't think of winning a prize, i was nervous. I had a competition with Shilpa Shetty, Frieda Pinto and Shabana Aazmi, I thought that award will be given to Shabana Aazmi. Sharmeen Ubaid is the first Pakistani woman who won an Oscar award and when my name was announced for the Asian award so i was like blind for five seconds. I felt good after a while. When i received the trophy in my hand so i felt proud to be a Pakistani. Humaima Malik has signed three movies in Bollywood. One of the film is being making now. When it was asked about the movie so Humaima told that it's forbidden in India to tell the story of the film until it's "Morrat" is done. You can't talk about it. Humaima told it won't be any shameful thing to work in Indian film which will cause my family to face troubles. I couldn't be able to do Shezad Rafeeq movie "Ishq-e-Khuda". I don't want to do this movie and it's not like i don't want to do a Punjabi movie. At that time i didn't think of myself fit for Punjabi cinema. Now i don't know what is the scene of that movie because i'm no longer a part of that film.
               Humaima said an artist should do what is comfortable for him or her. You should do what your heart says is right. She also said i know Mia Yousuf Salahuddin very well and I've learnt many things from him. He's so intelligent and Pakistan's big name. Humaima watches Pakistani films and she told that film "War" which has been directed by Bilal Lashari is a Jami commercial director and he's working good. We now have very good directors. Time will come in Pakistan when three big films will be released in a year in which famous names will also be included. Humaima told it's not that when i'll work in Indian movie so i won't work in Pakistani movie no it's wrong. I don't want to work on T.V screen because its a waste of time. I want to spend my time on something important. T.V is so amazing. Many big artists has come up from the T.V screen  in which Moin Akhter, Talat Hussain, Bushra Ansari, Anwar Maqsood, Samina Peerzada. I'll work for T.v but now now. I need some time to explore myself.
                                     I go to India for shootings. I won't change my name like Mona Lisa. I didn't change my name since childhood. In Indian film industry it is still Humaima Malik. Mona Lisa has changed her name to Mona Loren. It has happened after going in Indian industry. I won't change my name, i think my name is beautiful and i love my name. Humaima was asked about item songs and Veena Malik so she answered, your past brings many things in your present. The things I've done in my past so i will cast for that work only. I've not done anything like item songs on which i'll be asked to do so. When you go to India you are asked about your artist. When i go to India so I've some responsibilities. I will request those girls who are frustrated and think that they will have to work hard. Need some big skills. Respect and a word spoken from mouth don't come back ever. You should think that you're not alone in Indian industry but you are the ambassador from Pakistan. Whenever i go to India Ali Zafar is the only person whom respects and appreciation i get. I'm proud to be his friend today. Ali Zafar has so much respect there. Tomorrow, you become a star or not, you get a work or not, people remember you everytime.

                 My three movies are the biggest banners movies. I'll tell you the name when the time will come. Humaima Malik told that i read the script first because it's the heart of the film. If the lines of the film will be perfect so you'll enjoy working in the film and what kinds of scenes in the film. What can i do or not, you should always realize. I've to do Jaami movie after "Bol" but i couldn't do it because of the security issues. This film had to shoot in Balochistan. I don't think so my family would allow me to work there because there were some danger issues. Shan and i was in this film. We both had a issue of security, due to which we couldn't do it. Humaima told that a girl have to watch her family. All the artists who are working in Pakistan should stand up and fight for the truth. Our country has so much problems. Load shedding has ruined very much and BBA degree doesn't have job. People work abroad from Pakistan. It's worst situation in Pakistan.
        It seems like there's a civil war going on in Pakistan. Time has changed a lot the rich is getting richer and the poor is getting poorer. When i did "Bol" so people got me mad that what dialogues I've spoken in it. In the end Humaima Malik said i can't leave modelling. Modelling is my craze and acting is my profession.

MAMTA KULKARNI: BEAUTIFUL ACTRESS' WORST END

Mamta Kulkarni is not that old actress, but less of the people remember here now. The real reason behind ignoring Mamta Kulkarni so early is that she came in Bollywood industry like a twister and shocked everyone and vanished away. Her fame in film industry which can also be called her distruction..... wasn't for long. Mamta was self-confident and she used to do things be her own. She doesn't care about world. She was was used to say anything without caring anybody. She was ready to do anything to get fame. Though she got the fame but she had to pay it price. Her co-star actresses started to hate her and most of the people of her time predicted that her fame will be over soon.
                     Their predictions were right. If we see her life so we think of a Veena Malik. Mamta Kulkarni was born in Mumbai. Her family belonged from Maharashtar. Mamta wanted to be an actress from her very childhood and she had realized that she is beautiful and she has all the abilities to become an actor. Though she got a chance to work in South Indian movies but her aim was to become a Bollywood star. It was her real destination. In 1993, she picturized a shoot like Veena Malik. Though she was behind from Today's Veena Malik. Her upper part of the body was without clothes but it was before 19 years. In that time it was a big deal for a girl to shoot this kinds of photos. Mamta's shoot crazed everyone. This shoot famed her. It was the first time an Indian actress had done such kind of nudity. Nude pictures of Mamta was published on Magazine cover.

        After this shoot, Mamta started to get film offers from the big directors. Bat thing happened to her that many people critisized her badly. The bad thing was many of the famous actresses were also critisized about her. Mamta answered them all, "If this work was done by Hollywood actress Madonna, Cindy Crawford, Jolia Roberts and Damie Moore so we appreciated them on their work...what a film..... what a nice song.....!" But when Mamta Kulkarni does this so everyone critisizes her badly. I know other actresses don't want me to get famous and if they think that i don't know anything about her personal life so they are wrong if i open my mouth about their work so they won't be able to face anyone."
            After is Mamta got a chance to do an item song in film "Ghatak", after it she got loads of offers. According to her statement, she did a famous film "China Gate" whose director was Raj Kumar Santoshi. Mamta took lessons from an action specialist Tanu Verma for the movie. So they became friends and after some time they became together. Fimli peoples were shocked that their was a great difference between Mamta and Kulkarni. Mamta was a beautiful actress whereas Tanu was a simple ugly face man and he was also a married man. People were shocked to know what Mamta saw in Tanu.
            Many famous hereos were crazy for Mamta but Mamta was crazy for Tanu. According to sources, Mamta also got married with Tanu. They both went to Ujen for this and there they both got married. Mamta tried to hush it all up but their marriage news and pictures were leaked on the screen. Mamta stated that she went o Ujen with Tanu for a social work not for getting married.
          Though her fame began to ruin. After some incidents and news her fame started to destroy. There was an incident that Tanu's wife caught both of them red handed in a hotel room and she shouted. I scolded them and it was seen by everyone in the hotel.. It was all happening during the shooting of "China Gate" and Raj Kumar Santoshi was very upset with these news. At last he knocked Mamta out from his movie. What could be worse Mamta started to shout and called the press and told them that Raj Kumar got her out from his movie because she didn't do one thing for him. Santoshi had to get her back in his movie. Mamta was very powerful. She went o Film financer. He was also crazy about Mamta's beauty. He refused to give more finance to Santoshi on the request of Mamta. That's why Santoshi had to get Mamta back in this movie.

               Though Mamta did this movie but it ruined her. Filmcaster refused to cast her in their movies. She didn't have anyone left in the industry to get her a role or something. At last when no one left to take her in any scene so she started dancing for wealthier people and politicians. She gained more permutation by dancing in item songs. The most shocking thing is she didn't get this life too and after some time she began to take any interest in dancing. People invited her in their parties but she wouldn't go. She became so quiet. It also came to hear that she had a nervous breakdown. Before this, she was attacked of depression. She was disappeared from everyone's eyes. Today, no one doesn't exactly know where she is and how is she. A website writes that she's in America now and having wonderful life with her husband and kids..... but it's not true. None of the sources proved it right but some resources told that she's admitted in mental hospital in Los Angeles but now she's counted in those patients who can't be recovered now!
